This program honors the "Courageous 12," the dozen black St. Petersburg police officers who broke racial barriers when they filed a discrimination lawsuit 50 years ago. The event is at 5 p.m. at the Dr. Carter G. Woodson African American History Museum, 2240 Ninth Ave. S, St Petersburg. It is free and open to the public.
